In the online course “Makers of Tomorrow” entrepreneurs from Germany and Silicon Valley will talk about their personal experiences, their successes, but just as honestly about their failures and mistakes. And they will also be giving practical tips for taking the first steps towards founding a company.

In addition to the online course, there will also be an accompanying inter-university lecture series. The dates and topics can be found at the Makers of Tomorrow website.

The University of Stuttgart is a partner university of the "Makers of Tomorrow" project, supported by Angela Merkel, and is now offering all students free access to this exclusive online course. Registration is now open.
The launch event with Dr. Angela Merkel will take place on November 11, at 4 p.m.

Who is “Makers of Tomorrow” aimed at?

“Makers of Tomorrow” is a format aimed at students across all subjects. The course has been deliberately designed not only for economics or computer science students, but also for those studying humanities subjects, natural science and all other study programs.

When does it start?

"Makers of Tomorrow" was launched on November 1, 2021, and will initially run until February 28, 2022. The online course itself is asynchronous in design. This means that all participating students are free to choose when they would like to work on the ten modules during this period.

Who is behind this project?

"Makers of Tomorrow" was initiated by the Federal Chancellery and is supported by the Digital Council of the German Federal Government, the German Rectors' Conference and the Bundesverband Deutsche Startups e.V.
