The Student Counseling Center (ZSB) is the University of Stuttgart’s professional counseling center for all matters concerning prospective and current students.
In our counseling, we focus entirely on your interests and your personal situation. We provide information and guidance to help you choose the right course of study, support you as you begin your studies, and assist you in successfully completing your university degree.
We are also on-hand to support you if you have doubts or encounter difficulties during your studies. We help you find suitable solutions and then decide what the next step might be.
Contacting us and making an appointment
In our drop-in and telephone consultations, you can receive information and initial advice without an appointment.
You are also welcome to make an appointment for a detailed individual consultation in person, via video conference, or by phone. You can schedule an appointment in person during our opening hours, by phone using the general telephone number, or via the contact form.

Our consultation services
We provide comprehensive guidance on study orientation, choosing a study program, and our range of study options. Exit the autobahn A8 (Munich – Karlsruhe) at the junction "Stuttgart-Vaihingen" towards "Stuttgart". The second exit "Universität" directly leads to the campus. Follow the roadsigns until you reach "Pfaffenwaldring".
