The teaching degree program in Italian covers the subject areas of linguistics, literature, humanities, and speaking practice as well as methods of teaching the subject. At the start of studies, the focus is on learning the Italian language and intensive deepening of language training to reach a skill level of C2. The practical language training is complemented by academic country and cultural studies modules.
The study program is arranged to be as flexible as possible. Taking advantage of a series of electives, you can set individual priorities to suit your situation. The idea is to facilitate above all the integration of study abroad stays into your studies.
Previous knowledge of the Italian is not required. Learning Italian is the focus of your studies from the start. You should:
- Be interested in language and culture,
- Like to read, write and analyze,
- Develop your own initiatives, work independently and precisely,
