Climate change, migration or the incorporation of digital technologies in our everyday lives – these entities are putting our environment into motion. Permanence will soon no longer be enough; the buildings of the future must be able to react to constantly changing conditions and living conditions. The solution is a new form of architecture, where buildings are built with future changes in mind, right from the planning phase. The Institut für Baukonstruktion, IBK2 at the Universität Stuttgart is exhibiting student architecture projects that are capable of shape shifting to adapt to the demands of different locations at the Expo Dubai and at Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
The exhibition will open on Wednesday 27 Marc, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the foyer of the Haus der Wirtschaft.
