Employees to receive new reusable FFP2 masks

April 13, 2022

The University of Stuttgart will be providing all employees with reusable textile FFP2 masks.

The safety, health and protection of its employees are of great importance to the University of Stuttgart during the Corona pandemic. Even though the Corona restrictions have been partially lifted, the infection rates are still very high, and the situation remains dynamic. Because wearing a mask indoors continues to provide the best protection against infection, the university has decided to send new FFP2 masks to all employees as part of a major campaign that will be taking place in mid-April.

The masks will be sent by the Cologne-based company Mask24 GmbH and meet EN 149:2001 and A1:2009 requirements. They can be washed several times and may be worn for at least 140 days. They offer the best possible protection and promote sustainability by helping to avoid waste. The instructions for use and washing instructions can be found on the packaging. The masks are one size and black. The mail office will be sending out a total of around 5,600 masks, mainly by mail, to the private addresses of employees.
