Teens' University: discussing the future with experts

November 3, 2021

Series of events for students aged twelve and older

Under the motto "Explore the Future," colleges and universities in the Stuttgart region invite students aged 12 and over to attend the Teens' University event series. The University of Stuttgart is contributing with 3 events.

How will we move around in the future? How can you live sustainably, develop your own apps, and how does upcycling actually work? From November 2021 to February 2022, the Teens' University will give school students aged 12 and over the opportunity to address important future issues on a weekly basis and to discuss various topics with experts. This event series aims to make the diversity that characterizes university life more visible and tangible for young people and to arouse their curiosity about studying.

A total of eleven events will take place on Fridays at 4 p.m. These comprise ten digital, interactive events and one onsite workshop. Films and interactive modules, such as experiments, discussions and voting, ensure a lively exchange and enough excitement during the online events.

Mobility, mechanical engineering, and bioengineering

The University of Stuttgart will be offering three events within the framework of the Teens’ University. The first event will be held on November 19 and will focus on the mobility of the future:
