To counteract climate change, we need sustainable strategies and innovative, environmentally friendly technologies for energy production. Hydrogen produced using green hydrogen technologies such as "power to gas" will play an important role in this. In this workshop, we will show you how to use a "do-it-yourself bioreactor" to produce hydrogen from plant waste and microorganisms to power a fuel cell. We will also take a look into the future and explore the question of how "molecular computing" can be used in biotechnology to optimize such future energy supply technologies.

Teens University
The colleges and universities in the Stuttgart region invite high school students aged 12 and over to participate in this year's Teens University "Explore the Future" [de]. This event series aims to demonstrate the diversity of the higher education landscape and the opportunities offered by different courses of study. Starting on November 19, 2021, eleven events will be held at weekly intervals, both online and onsite.
