Planning, design, and optimization of transport routes and systems
The Bachelor’s program in Transport Engineering equips you to plan and operate transport systems. Transport engineers…
- design the traffic (road and rail networks, bus and flight schedules) based on an analysis of spatial structure and mobility behavior.
- forecast traffic demand
- determine construction and operation costs.
- They dimension transport infrastructure (including roads, rail networks, and airports) and develop systems for controlling traffic flow
- and develop sustainable mobility concepts for both passengers and goods. They also deal with new drive technologies and the resulting requirements for infrastructure.
Good to know
- A small cohort size: You begin your first semester with 20 to 40 fellow students This facilitates individual support from teaching staff and encourages students to support each other.
- This study program offers diverse career opportunities in infrastructure planning, promotes environmentally friendly mobility, equips students with technical expertise, and enables them to shape projects that are relevant to society. It also contributes to improving traffic safety and offers exciting challenges in a future-oriented industry. This allows you to make an active contribution to sustainable mobility.
