The fundamental meaning that the “body in action” plays in language acquisition has been emphasized by numerous pedagogues, behavioral psychologists and experts from the fields of artistic creativity. Embodying a language using exercises in the fields of theater, music, dance, cinema and the arts enable the grammatical and structural content of a language to fuse with the cultural meaning and thus overcoming the difficulties of language lessons in a playful manner.
The aim of the Italian Center’s Student Day is to develop a dialogue between the various theories and their practical implementation and to motivate and inspire language learners and teachers alike to develop new methods for encouraging language students.
