ZOERR publication funding for production of open teaching materials

The Central OER Repository (ZOERR) provides financial and personnel support for the production and publication of open educational materials (OER) through two funding lines.

Up to EUR 50,000 for larger OER publication projects

The ZOERR is funding larger OER publication projects by providing up to EUR 50,000 for each selected project. The funding is meant to enable realization and publication. Additionally, the ZOERR provides support with organizational and technical issues during the course of the project.

Finally, all materials will be published under open licenses as OER on the ZOERR. Application is possible until July 31, 2024.

Details and application for the funding of larger OER publication projects

Up to EUR 2,000 production aid for teaching material

In addition to funding of larger OER publication projects, the  ZOERR supports the production and publication of teaching materials as OER up to EUR 2,000.

Depending on its personnel capacity the ZOERR supports among other things

  • through support by student assistants
  • as production agency at your side
  • by assisting research for or providing additional material
  • by financial production support (max. 2,000 euros / quarter, max. 4 projects)

Submissions for the current year by May 1, August 1 and November 1, 2024.
