Detail information on building areas
The nearest public transport stop is the stop “Hölderlinstrasse” (bus number 43). People with walking disabilities might find the path from the city center campus very steep, and it does not offer places to linger or rest. There is no direct access from the disabled parking space to the left of the building. The main entrance is not accessible for wheelchair users (steps in front of and in the building), but you can use the side entrance on the left of the building (1st basement floor), which can be reached via a ramp behind the house. This side entrance door is extremely hard to open.
The main entrance is clearly visible on the south side of the building (steps in front of the building, and inside the building behind the entrance). The entrance to the large lecture hall M 12.01 is located on the west side of the building
Missing step markings. Glass doors with limited contrast. The interior of the building is not very well lit.
There is am accessible university parking space between buildings 12 and 14.
The elevator is wheelchair-accessible and there is sufficient turning space in the elevator lobby.
The entrance doors are not automated and can only be opened with effort.
There is an accessible restroom on the 1st basement floor (freely accessible). However, it provides only little space to move the wheelchair sideways next to the toilet bowl.
