Materials Science
Studying in the Bachelor’s study program in Materials Science resembles studying physics or chemistry. In the basic modules, you will learn primarily the natural science and mathematical foundations, such as higher mathematics, experimental physics, materials science basics and chemistry. In addition, elements from the engineering sciences flow into the studies. The core modules will provide you a deeper look into materials science. You will be attending lectures on computer-assisted materials science as well as on structural analysis and microscopy.
You should be interested in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Moreover, you should be able to think in an interdisciplinary was about the natural sciences and enjoy mathematical analytical thinking.
