Physical Education Teaching Qualification

In this program, prospective teachers are prepared to plan, design, and analyze physical education lessons in a student-centered way. The Physical Education study program is characterized by a variety of theoretical and practical training components. The core content includes, for example, sports pedagogy, sociology, psychology, and sports medicine, as well as pedagogical methods for physical education lessons. This is complemented by sport-specific theory and practice in individual and team sports, such as gymnastics, athletics, or handball. Practical-methodical training accounts for about half of all courses.
