History of Natural Sciences and Technology

The History of Natural Sciences and Technology (GNT) uses the methods of historical science to analyze scientific texts, images, instruments, and technical practices. It examines the prerequisites, developments, and consequences of scientific discoveries and technical innovations. In doing so, it highlights the social and cultural significance of science and technology and encourages reflection on our modern technology-driven society. The histories of natural sciences and technology are studied together and in close relation within the course of study.
