Architecture and Urban Planning

Architecture and urban planning are the most public of all art forms - you cannot escape the built environment. Architects and urban planners are responsible for the beauty and diversity of our built environment. Their task is to shape a livable future by preserving and enhancing urban spaces and landscapes. They respond to constant change and develop ideas for tomorrow's world. The study program is correspondingly broad in scope, covering design and construction, urban development and planning, presentation and design, as well as building technology and the historical, theoretical, social, and economic fundamentals.
