The building is mainly accessible.

The 6-story building houses three different units: the Department 3-Study with its departments Application, Admission, Enrollment, Student Services and Examination Office, Student Counseling Center, and the representative for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Additionally, there is the Graduate Academy (GRADUS) and, thirdly, the office of the student representation stuvus.

The nearest public transport stop is the S-Bahn stop "Universität"(lines S1, S2, S3). Only the exit "Universitätszentrum" has an elevator and is accessible. The bus stops "Universität" (lines 82, 84, 91, 92, 746. 747. 748, N1) and "Universität" (loop / lines 82, 84. 746. X60), have a barrier-free access path. The main entrance is accessible and has automatic doors. The rear entrance (to the student work room, when the building is closed) is on the east side of the building and has an automatic door. Caution: There is a step and a small ramp to the door, which is not marked! The interior of the building is accessible except for a few heavy doors.

Along the edges of the “concrete plateau”, which forms the courtyard between the buildings, there is a risk of falling. The stairs at the edge between 5b and 5a are without handrails and barely noticeable. The doorsteps of the side entrances protrude into the traffic area and are not marked. Monotone color schemes in the interior and exterior, but the entrance is visible due to its projecting vestibule. Step markings are missing.

There are two accessible public parking spaces at the back of 5a Pfaffenwaldring.

The elevator is accessible.

The door of the main entrance is automated and open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (on Fridays only until 4 p.m.). There is a back entrance on the east side, which can be opened with the Ecus student ID card outside opening hours of the building. The outer door is automated. The doors inside the building are not automated and some of them can only be opened with effort.

There are accessible restrooms on the ground floor and on the 1st basement floor. The basement restroom has a Eurokey locking system, but is generally freely accessible. The ground-floor restroom is located in the student workspace and is freely accessible.
