The 3-story building houses the Rectorate as well as a large part of the Central Administration with Divisions 1, 4, 5 and 7.
Access for people with limited mobility is only possible on the park side (north side) via the ground floor. To the left of the building you can find a ramp that leads to the entrance. The other main entrance (south side) is not wheelchair-accessible, but can be used, with limitations, by the visually impaired. The access from the street level (Keplerstr.) leads you through the adjacent building, no. 17 Keplerstrasse: Entrance street level (1st basement floor), by elevator to the ground floor, and then crossing from the main exit on the ground floor to the entrance on the south side / park side.
There are two main entrances: One on the north side (park side) with automatic doors, and one on the south side (access from Schellingstrasse / park) with stairs and heavy doors.
Both entrances are sufficiently contrasted.
Next door, at 17 Keplerstrasse, there are several public parking spaces for disabled drivers.
There is an elevator that connects all floors, but the elevator car is very small and has no turning space. Although a through-type car, it is not wheelchair-accessible on both sides on each floor.
The entrance doors on the park side are automated.
There is a restroom on the ground floor (Eurokey locking system). The door to the restroom can only be opened with effort, the clear passage width of the restroom door is approx. 88 cm.
