Sport Science: Sociology and Economics

Sport plays an enormously important role in modern society: Whether in daily news coverage of elite sports on TV, in newspapers, or on the internet, as an economic factor with considerable revenues, or as a key means of promoting individual health. Accordingly, there is a growing demand for qualified professionals in the fields of management, marketing, and the organization of sports in the broadest sense. In the study program Sport Science: Sociology and Economics, you acquire the necessary knowledge in sports science and business administration to take on leadership roles in sports-related organizations.
