Philosophy / Ethics Teaching Qualification
The focus of the program is a thorough, systematic, and historical education in philosophy. Students are introduced to problems and theories in the traditional areas of philosophy: Metaphysics, epistemology and philosophy of science, aesthetics, philosophy of mind, language, and culture, as well as ethics and political philosophy In doing so, philosophical discussions are also examined in the context of their historical development.
In addition, the course teaches how to independently analyze philosophical and ethical questions and to communicate this knowledge in a structured and audience-appropriate manner.
