Search engines, text data bases, automatic translation, readers for the blind or dialog systems for phones and cars – without natural language processing (NLP) none of this would be possible. For example, NLP deals with questions of how language should be represented so that machines can process it or how machines can generate language autonomously. The B.Sc. study program is interdisciplinary and links linguistics with mathematics and computer science.
This interdisciplinary B.Sc. program is ideal for anyone interested in combining a bent for language and communication with a liking for mathematics and computer science.
