Networked research

Research centers, joint research projects and cooperations

Cooperative research is a huge priority at the University of Stuttgart, which is why the University of Stuttgart deliberately initiates and promotes joint research projects and research centers and thereby creates the necessary infrastructure for cooperative research projects.

The whole is more than the sum of its parts – this idea does not only hold true for a puzzle but also for science, where cooperative and joint research are a key to success. Therefore the University of Stuttgart houses a variety of research centers and fosters numerous research cooperations of all kinds: from intramural centers beyond the borders of faculties to a cooperative research networks like ARENA2036 or CyberValley, where science and economy develop and realize new research ideas together.

The University of Stuttgart is also deeply connected with strong partners throughout the region, in Germany, and all over the world. The continuous expansion and reinforcement of this network is one of the central strategic goals of the University of Stuttgart. These websites offer a glance at the joint research cooperations that already exist.
