Inken de Wit

Having been with Uni & Familie since June 2014, Inken de Wit coordinates existing and develops further reconciliation measures and is responsible for implementing the “audit familiengerechte hochschule” auditing process.

Uni & Familie in the uniqUS staff unit is the central point of contact and specialist expertise for the area of reconciling work, studies and family life at the University of Stuttgart. The strategy paper “Compatibility Management at the University of Stuttgart, which was signed by the university management and developed in the auditing process for the “audit family-friendly university” certificate, forms the framework for the “family-friendly university” profile in addition to the legal mandate.

Her tasks include

- Overall strategic responsibility for “Compatibility Management at the University of Stuttgart”
- Consolidation and further development of needs-based childcare for employees and students
- Implementation of family justice in research funding
- Expertise for internal positions and committees to integrate family justice into their own areas of responsibility
- Targeted support for junior and tenure-track professors with family responsibilities as part of family support in the federal-state program
- Expert and consultant for compatibility issues in supra-regional networks, in particular “ Familie in der Hochschule e.V.”, Federal Conference of Women's and Equal Opportunities Officers at Universities (bukof), “audit familiengerechte hochschule” network
