Yuri’s Night Deutschland e.V., together with the Planetarium Stuttgart, the Institute of Space Systems at the University of Stuttgart and many other partners, are bringing outer space to the inner city. This is an exciting day for old and young at the planetarium in Stuttgart. This event is free of charge (except for the presentations in the domed hall).
Program:
- Making rockets (and painting)
- Space Bar (coffee, cake etc.)
- Soyuz simulator (to try flying yourself)
- ISS simulator (with VR glasses where you see the ISS flying)
- Models of rockets and satellites
- The 501st Legion (world’s largest Star Wars costume club)
- VDI (Württembergischer Ingenieurverein e.V.)
- Student groups (K-Sat, HyEnD)
- Remote controlled Rover
- Lectures about space travel
Additional events on 12.04.:
A public viewing of the film “Der Marsianer”, followed by a discussion of scenes from the film with the German astronaut Ernst Messerschmid.
