Around EUR 750,000 in Deutschlandstipendium scholarships are awarded annually

Prof. Dr. Michael-Jörg Oesterle, Vice Rector for Teaching and Continuing Education, welcomed over 300 guests to the Deutschlandstipendium award ceremony for the first time in his new role. He congratulated the approximately 180 scholarship recipients and thanked the sponsors for their financial and personal support.

Oesterle highlighted the outstanding academic and social achievements of the scholarship recipients and praised the dedicated commitment of the sponsors—without whom the Deutschlandstipendium at the University of Stuttgart would not be possible.
A view into the audience
Speaking on behalf of the English-speaking students, one scholarship recipient thanked the sponsors for the opportunities the Deutschlandstipendium has created for her. In her speech, she pointed out the challenges of our time and encouraged everyone to face them with courage and commitment.
The representative of the WiCAM Foundation described how an initial idea can develop step by step into a successful company. An inspiring example of what is possible with commitment and determination.
The scholarship holder spoke about the role the Deutschlandstipendium plays in her daily life. In a moving speech, she described the coordination skills needed to balance life as both a mother and a student.
Representing Behnisch Architekten, a former scholarship recipient described how the Deutschlandstipendium can provide valuable opportunities—as a network, a catalyst for personal and professional growth, or financial support.

The ceremony concluded with the traditional large group photo of all participants.
