Social Sciences (German-French)

The Social Sciences (German-French) study program focuses on societal structures and processes. It is conducted in cooperation with Sciences Po Bordeaux. The bilingualism and focus on the German and French regions provide students with a high level of intercultural competence. In a group of 24 German and French students, the students alternate annually between the two universities, thus getting to know two academic systems with different focuses.

  • This study program has a broad scope, focusing on social science study content from two different study locations (Sciences Po Bordeaux and the University of Stuttgart)
  • Intensive further development of key competencies through the promotion of linguistic and cultural skills
  • Small groups: joint studying and learning in small German-French student groups (24 students)
  • Practical experience is gained through internships throughout the study program
