Study program structure and content
The program comprises two academic years at Sciences Po Bordeaux (the first and third years) and one academic year at the SOWI Institute of the University of Stuttgart (the second year).
The courses in Bordeaux are taught in French, while the courses in Stuttgart are taught in German. The strengthening of French language skills takes place at Sciences Po Bordeaux through intensive language courses accompanying the study program. Students complete the BA program after six semesters with a German bachelor's degree, and the MA program after an additional four semesters with both a German and a French Master's degree. Upon earning their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, students also receive the Franco-German University certificate for double-degree graduates.
