How can households, municipalities, and businesses continue to secure sufficient energy and heat? How can technology be combined with a sense of responsibility to advance the energy transition and climate protection?
In the Master’s program in Energy Engineering, you will learn about the concepts of energy conversion, storage, and distribution. You will examine the potential and economic viability of various energy sources (fossil fuels, nuclear energy, solar energy, wind energy, hydropower, and biomass) as well as their integration into the energy system.
After completing the program, you will be able to evaluate plant and utilization concepts for renewable and conventional energy technologies in terms of their energy performance and economic viability. You will be able to develop and optimize systems for a sustainable, environmentally friendly, and economically viable energy supply. You will also learn how energy engineering can contribute to environmental protection and resource conservation.
