Study program structure and content

The bachelor's program covers four areas: Information systems, computer science, business administration, and interdisciplinary key qualifications.

Weighting of course content:

  • Information systems account for 25%. The focus is on topics related to shaping digital transformation in companies and for society.
  • 25% of the program consists of computer science and software engineering courses.
  • 20% is devoted to basic business administration subjects such as marketing, management, investment, and finance.
  • 15% covers mathematical and statistical fundamentals as well as interdisciplinary key qualifications.

Students can fill the remaining 15% with their individual specializations. To this end, they select courses from the three core subjects of information systems, computer science, and business administration. In addition, it is possible to specialize in other economics and engineering subjects. Overall, compulsory and elective subjects are in a ratio of approximately 2:1 (120 vs. 60 ECTS).
