Study program structure and content
In the Economics minor, students gain in-depth knowledge of market and macroeconomic principles, mechanisms, and interrelationships.
An important basis for this is an understanding of the decision-theoretical and microeconomic fundamentals of what happens on the goods, labor, and capital markets. In addition, functional mechanisms in these markets, their interdependence at the macroeconomic level, and key objectives and instruments of economic policy, particularly social and environmental policy, are taught. In addition, students can deepen their knowledge of economics in the elective economics module in the field of microeconomics or macroeconomics.
