Study program structure and content
The Master’s program in Engineering Cybernetics provides a rigorous foundation in system dynamics, modeling, and control. Advanced modules focus on the analysis and control of complex and uncertain systems. These are complemented by flexible specialization areas. Practical relevance is strengthened through collaborative projects and an industrial internship. The program concludes with a supervised master’s thesis focused on current research and real-world engineering challenges.

Focus areas and specializations
Within the core areas of control, robotics, system dynamics, modeling, and simulation, you will be able to shape your individual academic profile through a broad selection of electives and specialize according to your interests. You will also focus on two specialization areas within the broad field of cybernetics. These may include:

- System Dynamics
- Nonlinear Mechanics
- Mathematical Methods of Cybernetics
- Systems Biology
- Biomedical Engineering
- Transport Systems
