Automotive Engineering

How can vehicles be made more efficient, safer, and more sustainable? And how do aerodynamics, propulsion, and software work together?

The Master’s program in Automotive Engineering at the University of Stuttgart deepens students’ engineering expertise and combines traditional automotive engineering with modern developments such as electrification, automated driving, and connected driving. Simulation and testing provide a direct link to professional practice.

  • We are looking primarily for graduates with Bachelor’s degrees in automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, and energy engineering.
  • We offer a comprehensive foundation in engineering combined with a wide range of opportunities for individual specialization. Our courses combine a strong research orientation with a high-tech environment.
  • Choose two of three options: an industrial internship for hands-on experience, an academic research project, or “Data Science” for insights into IT topics.
