After completing your Bachelor's degree in Medical Engineering, you can seamlessly continue your studies at the University of Stuttgart by enrolling in the Master's program in Medical Engineering. At the University of Tübingen, you can choose between the master's program in Biomedical Technologies and Medical Radiation Sciences.

Job & career
Many of our graduates, work as engineers in medical technology companies, especially those who complete a master’s degree.
- As a development engineer, you are directly involved in the research and design of new medical products and services.
- You can also work as a quality, sales, or production engineer.
- Product managers serve as the bridge between technically minded developers and the doctors who use the products, effectively speaking both “languages.”
- Due to the complex approval process for medical devices, regulatory affairs are of central importance in every medical technology company. Graduates with legal knowledge are also needed here, as well as in governmental and private regulatory authorities.
- Medical engineers are also sought after in hospitals, whether for managing clinical equipment or for planning and overseeing the construction of new departments and facilities.
- After completing your studies, you can of course also pursue a career in science, whether at a research institute such as Fraunhofer or Max Planck, or at a university.
