Study program structure and content

The English study program in Stuttgart covers a broad spectrum, ranging from classic topics such as British and American literary history, drama, and sentence structure to current developments, fields of research, and interdisciplinary approaches.

These include postcolonial studies, Brexit and academia, film and television studies, cognitive literary studies, and computer-assisted work on digitized texts. The teaching qualification includes several modules in educational sciences, which address questions of upbringing and education. In addition, you will complete a three-week orientation internship at a school during your studies.
