Study program structure and content

During the initial semesters, students take lectures in general chemistry and attend seminars to review and strengthen their mathematics skills. Practical laboratory sessions provide instruction in fundamental laboratory techniques. The focus there is on important separation methods and initial experiments. At the same time, you enroll in educational science courses and classes in your secondary subject.

From the second semester onwards, you delve deeper into the core subjects of inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. Alongside this, students take physics courses to develop a comprehensive scientific way of thinking.

The teaching degree includes several modules in educational sciences, which address questions of upbringing and education. In addition, you complete a three-week orientation internship at a school during your studies
