As one of the basic natural sciences, chemistry deals with the makeup, properties, and transformation of materials.
In the study program leading to a Bachelor’s degree, a modern, broadly conceived basic education in chemistry awaits you that covers, besides the chemistry core subjects, the “interfaces” between chemistry and process engineering, materials science, and the life sciences. As a result, not only does the Bachelor’s in Chemistry program deliver a mathematics-natural science basic education and the appropriate core subjects of inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, but also the fundamentals of technical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, biochemistry and macromolecular chemistry.
