Biology is the basic life science discipline and is considered as the leading 21st century science. It tackles the complex phenomena of living things and explores the fundamental interactions between molecules, cells, organisms and their communities.
The teaching degree program Biology encompasses basic subject-specific pedagogical training combined with an overview of biology’s multiple subfields. In doing so, it makes gaining an in-depth understanding of biological relationships possible.
You will study for the teaching qualification (B.A.) in biology at the University of Hohenheim. You may combine the subject with other subjects at the University of Stuttgart, the Music Conservatory, or the Art Academy. Please visit the University of Hohenheim program website for detailed information.
Training to become a secondary school teacher requires completing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with the same subject combination as your Bachelor’s degree.
