Technology Management - Bachelor's study program

My professional life has two main aspects: As a consultant, I translate ideas, experiences, and what I have learned for clients into concepts. And as a project engineer, I am directly involved in the implementation of these concepts. Especially during implementation, it is important to act independently, solution-oriented, and with the necessary "ability to think outside the box". The technology management program has provided me with the necessary tools, the right personal mindset, and the curiosity to want to learn new things. My current areas of activity are (1) the implementation of a data-driven service product, (2) the collection of technical requirements for the proper commissioning of ship engines, and (3) the optimization and assurance of" internal communication between the "Research & Development and "Sales" departments.

I believe in a digital world where security does not slow things down, but accelerates them. For this reason, I founded a cybersecurity company with my husband. I translate regulations such as NIS2, CRA, and the EU AI Act into tangible solutions for companies, and I am convinced that digitalization requires clarity, trust, and principles – as well as people who understand it and actively help shape it. My studies have helped me to clearly understand complex topics and to build bridges between technology and business.

My areas of responsibility mainly cover two fields. 

(1) On the one hand, I develop digital and marketing strategies for our clients. Through the targeted use of digital technologies and with the help of marketing automation, they can maximize their revenue and profit.

(2) In addition, I steer the strategic direction and organization of Sydney Digital Marketing. The introduction and optimization of internal processes play an important role in increasing efficiency and productivity. 

The Technology Management study program has enabled me to quickly understand constantly changing situations and derive solutions that align both business objectives and technological developments.

As a member of the Industry Services Solution Architecture & Systems Engineering team, I work with various major clients from different industries. In this role, I analyze clients’ existing processes and requirements and, based on this, develop methods as well as process and action plans that, combined with Dassault’s 3DEXPERIENCE software platform, help companies achieve their goals.

The knowledge and skills I acquired during my studies in Technology Management help me understand our clients and their product development processes. My experiences during my doctoral research at Institute of Human Factors and Technology Management enable me to develop efficient and effective solutions and to transfer the know-how required for organizational change to the employees of the companies I support.
