The University of Stuttgart will be offering the online Master's program “MASTER:ONLINE Building Physics and Environmental Responsive Construction” for the first time from the winter semester 2022/23. This interdisciplinary study program builds on the content of and experience gained from the "MASTER:ONLINE Building Physics" course, which has been on offer since 2007. This study program builds on the principles of blended learning and is very flexible in terms of location and time. It is also compatible with family commitments and enables a return to working life.

An introductory course introduces students to the fundamentals of building physics. This focuses on the physical principles and mechanisms of various processes related to building physics. After completing this introductory course, students have the option of specializing in either building physics or environmental construction.

This study program is aimed at architects and engineers who work in the construction industry and want to continue their education in the field of building physics and environmentally friendly construction by studying a practical, well-founded, comprehensive and, above all, part-time course.
