Study program structure and content
A university degree is focused on fundamentals and methods. This way, you learn not only how to apply a formula, but also how to derive it yourself. This also represents the fundamental difference from studying at a University of Applied Sciences or a dual university.
The first semesters build the foundation of your studies, combining 75% engineering expertise with 25% business knowledge. Starting in the fourth semester, you can tailor your studies by selecting individual focus areas from a range of subjects, including work science, microelectronics, technical design, entrepreneurship, or international management.
Key qualifications and modern, team-oriented approaches for developing new ideas using Design Thinking methods round off the study program. In your Bachelor’s thesis, you choose a topic in either engineering or business administration. In the fifth semester students have the opportunity to study abroad.
