Mit autonomen Fluggeräten helfen, die Umwelt zu schützen? Daten über Wildpferde sammeln?
Kein Problem mit heutigen unbemannten Flugrobotern. Im Workshop „Autonomes Fliegen für den Wildtierschutz" erhältst du einen Einblick in Ansätze zur Erforschung von Wildtieren mit Hilfe sogenannter UAVs, darfst dich selbst als UAV-Pilotin in einer Simulation versuchen und erfährst einen Überblick über die Steuerkonzepte, die es UAVs ermöglichen, autonom zu fliegen. Den Abschluss bietet eine Flugvorführung eines unserer Forschungs-UAVs.
Die Einführung und eine kurze Präsentation werden auf englisch gehalten, der restliche Workshop wird dann auf deutsch stattfinden.

No problem with today's unmanned aerial robots. In the workshop "Autonomous Flying for Wildlife Conservation," you'll gain insight into approaches to studying wildlife using so-called UAVs, get to try your hand at being a UAV pilot yourself in a simulation, and learn an overview of the control concepts that allow UAVs to fly autonomously. The event will conclude with a flight demonstration of one of our research UAVs.
The introduction und a short presentation will be held in english, the further workshop will take place in german.
