Dr. Eugen Ebert Foundation

The late Dr. Eugen Ebert used his assets to create a foundation whose yields must be used to support needy students of Stuttgart University. The applicants must have acquired the entitlement to study in higher education at a high school in the region of Württemberg (territorial status of 1963) and they must be German nationals. Students of all courses of study can receive scholarships from this foundation.

The grants do not have to be paid back. Basis for the assessment is in the first two semesters the maturity certificate (Reifezeugnis) and from the third semester onwards the written assessment by a college teacher and the proof of the exam results achieved so far. Regularly, the foundation only supports students after the maximum BAföG financing term has ended, if the BAföG financing was not (or no longer) granted for specific reasons promotion – e.g. because the student changed courses – or for particular projects. Applications can also be submitted in cases of an existing right to a graduation financing.
