Application Procedure Step 2

This is the final and official application for admission to INFOTECH Master Program. This step 2 can only be performed by
  • applicants who have been invited to do so - after succesfull evaluation and selection after step 1 - and have been informed by  "STEP 2 INVITATION" e-mail or
  • applicants from an European HEI ('Higher Educational Institute'), who might directly proceed to this step 2.
Step 2 is a paper-based process, i.e. the documents have to be sent by postal or courier service to Stuttgart
The "STEP 2 INVITATION" e-mail carries a personalized step 2 application form (as pdf) based on the step 1 data and lists all necessary document attachments. In order to prepare the step 2 and for the applicants from European HEI's the step 2 procedure is explained in detail below:
  • Application Form
    The personalized application form sent with the "STEP 2 INVITATION" e-mail is a pdf document with fillable fields. Please carefully check the provided information from step 1 and make changes - if necessary - in the fill-in fields of the form. Print the form and sign it.
    If, for what ever reasons, this is not going to work or for the applicants from European HEI's please use the generic step 2 application form - which looks a little bit different as the personal application form.
    Address-Stickers are available as pdf gif-type image or jpg-type image, please print, cut and paste it to the envelope.
  • The necessary attested (see Q19 on FAQ) documents, You send with the form are:
    • Bachelor Degree Certificate
    • Certificate of Bachelor Degree Examination
    • Transcript of Examinations.

    Actually, these documents (whatever names or titles are used) has to prove that 
    - you have successfully finished your Bachelor program
    - the result (numerical like overall average, GPA etc.)
    - the Bachelor degree has been conferred
    - all subjects taken, including the individual results (marks, grades etc.).

    Some universities combine these documents, which is o.k. as well, provided the above mentioned information is contained.

  • The following documents are requested without attestation:
    • TOEFL/IELTS test results. If your education was fully in English, then we kindly ask you to send us a statement from your university confirming that. In that case you do not need to provide the TOEFL/IELTS test.
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Letter of Motivation (see Q23 on FAQ)
    • Copy of your passport
    • APS ('Akademisches Pruef Siegel') for students from China, Mongolia and Vietnam as original
  • Supporting documents:
    • 2 reference letters from persons who know you and your capabilities (e. g. professors of your university). If necessary, forms in   pdf format are available.
Additionally, applicants with a Bachelor degree from an Iranian University need to supply the original and certified translation of the proof of the passed inter-university higher education entrance examination - Result Card (Konkour)

 

Deadlines can be found on the table in line Step 2 deadline for the requested program

 

After receiving the Step 2 documents, you will receive an e-mail confirming the receipt. If documents are missing you will be informed.

 

The full set of documents has to be ready for evaluation latest Step 2 deadline. All Admission requests will be evaluated by the admission commission on evaluation day after Step 2 deadline. If, for what ever reasons, your complete set of documents is not available in Stuttgart on the evaluation day, your application fails. Your application documents will be in time, if they arrive in Stuttgart before Step 2 Deadline.
You will be informed of the decision of the Admission Commission. All further details will be communicated to you.

 

Please note, that documents, sent to us in step 2, are in no case returned.
