Difficult early years

Despite the turbulent times that followed the First World War, Adolf Leonhard was ambitious and successful in his professional career. Especially the time spent in the assembly section of the Siemens-Schuckert works in Berlin had a great influence on Leonhard's later teaching and research activities at the Stuttgart College of Technology.
