50 students from the whole of Germany will be immersing themselves in the world of electromobility during the DRIVE-E-Academy 2017 at the University of Stuttgart from 8th until 13th October. At the same time they can expect exciting lectures as well as workshops and excursions to companies such as Daimler and Porsche. Moreover, a driving event with electric vehicles is on the agenda. A highlight this year is the visit to the Electronic Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition, in brief EVS30, on 9th and 10th October, whereby the participants will be given exclusive insights into current market trends. Partners of this year’s DRIVE-E-Academy are the University of Stuttgart with its Institute for Combustion Engines and Automotive Engineering (IVK) and the Research Centre for Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engines Stuttgart (FKFS).
DRIVE-E 2009 was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Fraunhofer Society. The eighth event of the successful management development program is already taking place in 2017. In the course of the event week the DRIVE-E study prizes will be awarded, endowed with up to 6,000 Euros that honour excellent student work on the topic of electromobility.
