Startup accelerator M.Tech extended until the end of 2020

August 20, 2020

The Technology Transfer Initiative (TTI) of the University of Stuttgart and industrial partners support young startups for another six months with the M.Tech Accelerator program

The M.Tech Accelerator program for the promotion of startup culture in Baden-Wuerttemberg, carried out by the Technology Transfer Initiative (TTI) of the University of Stuttgart, the City of Stuttgart, bwcon GmbH, the Impact Hub Stuttgart, and the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation, extends its duration until 31.12.2020. The next fast-track workshop will be starting in August, for which applications can still be made.

Young startups with a focus on mobility, manufacturing, and engineering now have another six months to develop rapidly within the framework of the M.Tech Accelerator program. M.Tech Accelerator, which is based at the Stuttgart Impact Hub, has been granted an extension of six months by the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Housing and the European Social Fund (ESF). Numerous teams have already gone through the program profitably and are now moving in the wild.

In order to push further startups onto this road to success, the three-day intensive workshop “Fast-Track” will be held again in August, where profound startup know-how will be imparted. The teams will also be supported in special workshops, so that their businesses can grow rapidly. Applications can still be made for the training, which is going to take place from 24 - 28 August.

As part of the M.Tech Accelerator program, mobility board meetings with the participating industrial partners are held four times a year. These meetings will continue to take place during the extension period, in September and November, in order to network the startups with the companies and thus provide additional opportunities through joint projects and financing.

The accelerator program is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Baden-Wuerttemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Housing.
