Prof. Stephan ten Brink is “IEEE Fellow”

Prof. ten Brink honored by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

Since January 1, 2021 Prof. Stephan ten Brink, Head of the Institue of Telecommunications, may call himself an “IEEE Fellow”. His outstanding research achievements in the field of information transmission in telecommunication and broadcast networks were recently recognized by the IEEE Society's Board of Directors with this prestigious titel, in particular due to his research contributions to iterative detection and decoding.

The title of “IEEE Fellow” is awarded only to a very limited number of IEEE members who have made significant contributions to the advancement or application of engineering, science, and technology. Congratulations on the honor!
