The report states that graduates from the University of Stuttgart earn on average almost 53,000 euros per annum. The Baden-württemberg comparison shows that they receive approximately 300 to 500 euros more each month than graduates from other universities in Baden-württemberg. This also confirms the findings of a graduate survey undertaken by the quality development of the University of Stuttgart from 2018 to 2020.

The findings also show that graduates from the University of Stuttgart are not only well-paid, they also tend to find employment very quickly after graduating. In 2018, 74 percent of all master's graduates had found employment within 3 months of completing their master's degree. After a period of 6 months, this number increased to 95 percent. And within a year after graduating, 98 percent of graduates had found employment.

The Stepstone report shows that the best-paid graduates are employed in the vehicle manufacturing and supply sector, in the aerospace sector, or in the chemical und oil processing industries.
