About the speaker

Prof. Holger Class is the deputy of the Department of Hydromechanics and Modelling of Hydrosystems (LH2) at the Institute for Modelling Hydraulic and Environmental Systems (IWS) of the University of Stuttgart. His research focuses on the development of model concepts for flow and transport processes in the subsurface with a variety of applications: storage of gases, precipitation processes in pore space, CO2 in caves, etc. Typically, the processes that interest Holger Class are coupled with bio/chemical or mechanical processes.
