Organized by the IFSW, the event Stuttgart Laser Days (SLT) will take place during the LASYS trade fair at the Messe Stuttgart. This event has been held every two years since 1999, and serves as a hotspot for scientific knowledge and sharing information. The Stuttgart Laser Days have established themselves as a central user forum within the laser industry and are aimed at an international audience. The lectures will be held in both German and English and simultaneous translation will be offered.
True to tradition, the focus will be on the topics of micro and macro material processing, as well as the relevant laser sources and beam guidance systems. Alongside the newest developments in classic procedures (cutting, welding, drilling, structuring, etc.), current topics such as generative manufacturing or system-technical approaches and solutions for increasing productivity in micro material processing will also be discussed. Furthermore, the newest developments in the field of UKP lasers, beam guidance, ultra-fast scanners and beam formation will also be presented.
With contributions from renowned representatives from the fields of research and development, the Stuttgart Laser Days offer an expert overview of the current trends in laser technology. The Stuttgart Laser Days offer insight into the relevant basic principles with a focus on new applications. This will be accompanied by contributions from the industry that document the current development stage and the implementation of innovations.
The first day of the event will be rounded off with an evening get-together where participants may view the laboratory at the IFSW.
