After a theoretical introduction to conditions, organizational forms and methods for the realization of sustainable social projects in the fields of immigration and diversity, you will be actively involved in the work at Begegnungsraum Stuttgart. Based on theoretical and practical experience, you will design, organize and realize a socially sustainable project in the context of immigration and diverse urban society in supervised group work. In addition to raising awareness for a critical practice in the field of diversity: especially in topics of integration, discrimination and empowerment - you will acquire theoretical and practical expertise for the independent implementation of sustainable projects in the social field. Visits to Chloroplast Weilimdorf, theater.prekariat and arrival aid - complement the project with best practice examples that illustrate living together in solidarity and participation as well as a successful combination of ecological and social sustainability without “marketing” them with political buzzwords.
The seminar is also open to extral-mural students.
